- Funeral services for Oliver Westre, 76, retired Pukwana farmer, will be Tuesday at 2 pm at the McColley Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Miller officiating.
Burial will be in the Pukwana Cemetery.
Mr. Westre was born April 27, 1892 at Brookings to Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Westre and died Dec. 7 at the local hospital. On Dec. 3, 1930 he married Tillie Fousek at Chamberlain.
Survivors include his widow; one son, Russell, Minneapolis; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Wlllard (Lenore) Martin, Pukwana; three stepsons, Leo Piskule, Chamberlain; Joe Piskule, Pukwana, and James Piskule, Orange, Calif.
Four brothers, Carl, Chamberlain; Jay, Rapid City, and Norman and Jerry, Wakonda; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Abild, Wakonda; Mrs. Clara Grey, Mission Hill, and Mrs. Ruby Grey, York, Neb.; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and
one step grandchild.
